Marcos Mereles

His feature debut, ALL IS VANITY (UK, 2021), premiered at the BFI London Film Festival
and was theatrically released by Verve Pictures, with streaming on platforms like BFI Player and Curzon Home Cinema.

His films have screened at dozens of international festivals, including Nashville, Cleveland, Fantasia, Manchester, and Amsterdam’s Imagine, where he received a Méliès d’Argent nomination, and at institutions such as BFI Southbank, Eye Filmmuseum, and the Austin Film Society.

In 2022, he was one of the directors who contributed to the decennial Sight and Sound Directors’ Poll, published by the British Film Institute.

Born in Argentina and based in London, he holds Argentine, Italian, and British citizenship.
